Veronica Arreola
Veronica spends her days working on education equity as director of an
academic support program for women in science and engineering. She has worked with organizations such as the Chicago Abortion Fund, Women in Media & News, NOW (at the local, state and national levels) and helped Planned Parenthood Illinois launch their blog in October 2007. She contributes to a lot of blogs, but her personal site is Viva la Feminista where she explores the intersection of motherhood, feminism, and being a Latina. Sometimes she
feels sorry that her husband is the only male in their home as even
their dachshund is a girl.
