Population Action International

Tod Preston is Senior Advisor for Congressional Relations and Strategic Outreach at Population Action International (PAI). In this capacity, he leads the development and implementation of PAI's advocacy and outreach activities with U.S. policymakers and other domestic constituencies.

Prior to joining PAI in 2004, Preston held a variety of posts in governmental relations on Capitol Hill and in the Executive branch. He worked for seven years in the House of Representatives, including service as legislative director for then-Congressman Rod Blagojevich (IL), legislative aide for Congresswoman Nita Lowey (NY), and staff member handling environmental and natural resource issues for the House Merchant Marine and Fisheries Committee.

Preston graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in government from Connecticut College. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
