Susan Farnsworth is the Chief Operating Officer for the Centre for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA). Susan has worked for over 25 years in the field of international relief and development. She has over 13 years of experience working in Africa, including Senegal as a Peace Corps volunteer and in Mali, Niger, Somalia and Tanzania with CARE. Her field work has included managing both relief and development operations. She also has led the strategic planning for country offices. She has designed and implemented innovative programs in women’s village savings and loans groups, HIV/AIDS, reproductive health and livelihood security.
