Reverend Madison Shockley is the pastor of the Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Carlsbad, California. He also writes commentary for leading newspapers on a wide variety of subjects including race, religion, politics, education, reproductive choice and popular culture. In his prior position, he served the Congregational Church of Christian Fellowship in Los Angeles.
