Peter Johnson, CNM, PhD, is director of global learning for Jhpiego and an adjunct professor at John’s Hopkins University School of Nursing. He received his certificate in nurse-midwifery from the US Air Force Nurse-Midwifery Education Program and a PhD in Educational Psychology from State University of New York at Buffalo. He has served as a contributing editor for the Journal of Midwifery & Women’s Health and is a fellow in the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
