David Castillo is the communications manager for the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association, a  group dedicated to helping people act responsibly, stay healthy and plan for strong families.

Prior to  NFPRHA, David covered local and state government for the Columbia Missourian and he also has broadcast experience from his time with KHOU in Houston. His experience also includes providing communications support for the National Association for Bilingual Education. He also served as a legislative assistant to Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz.

David holds a M.A. in journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism. He earned his undergraduate degree from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.
