Moisés is a Medical Doctor graduated form the University of Chile. He has been an activist in many NGOs working in Sexual and Reproductive Rights. He was a member of the Board of Directors and the Governing Council of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, a member of the Youth Coalition for Sexual and Reproductive Rights and a Board Advisor to the Boston Women's Health Book Collective (Our Bodies Ourselves).

Moisés holds a Master in Bioethics degree from the Erasmus Mundus program from the European Union, and is currently pursuing a Master in Applied Economics degree at Georgetown University. 

He works at the moment in a safe abortion project in Latin America, based on the field.
