Leila Darabi is a member of the board of the New York Abortion Access Fund (NYAAF). Founded in 2001, NYAAF is a volunteer-run, 501c3 non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to low-income women in New York State who cannot afford to pay for an abortion. NYAAF, an affiliate of the National Network of Abortion Funds, believes that abortion services should be available to all women regardless of their ability to pay. She is also the co-founder of the New York Repro Health Happy Hour, a monthly networking event for for the city's nonprofiteers working on sexual and reproductive health and rights, issues of gender and sexuality and all pro-choice New Yorkers looking for fun and progressive drinking buddies. 

Constance DeCherney is chair of the board of the New York Abortion Access Fund (NYAAF).
