jaz
jaz is a social media professional, and an ongoing student and advocate of reproductive justice. She co-created a blog and collective, Goddesses Rising, in March 2008 providing an open space for women to discuss health, art, politics, social issues, pop culture and spirituality. As a communications professional, she advises media personalities, businesses, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations on social media strategy, and creates written promotional materials. jaz earned her B.A. in Communication from the University of Delaware and an M.S. in Mass Communication from Boston University. She has an interest in natural childbirth and has taken classes with the International Center for Traditional Childbearing. Janna also has danced for all of her life and is currently exploring various styles including burlesque and African diasporic dances. jaz was raised in Mt. Vernon, New York and currently lives in Harlem, New York.
