I have interned for the National Center for Transgender Equality, the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network and American Friends Service Committee

I'm an aspiring activist for LGBT equality and reproductive freedom. I recently concluded a six month temp job at the Association of American Medical Colleges, where I was a administrative data verifier. I have a long history for volunteering and interning for progressive causes including the above the "dynamic duo" of reproductive choice and LGBT equality. I have also worked for the pro-peace American Friends and phone banking for MoveOn's campaign to wash out the Republicans in 2006. I plan to volunteer for the chosen nominee. I am leaning towards one Democrat, but I'm not telling...

I strongly believe in the individual's need to live free. Our insistence that people be responsible is not a call for society to take away freedom without just reason. Of course, the religious righters of the world need very little reason. And that's the danger they pose.
