Dr. Philip Diamond

Dr. Philip J. Diamond has been a leader in advocating for women’s health in California for many years. He is currently serving as the Chair of the Committee on State Legislation and Vice Chair of the Executive Committee for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), District IX (CA).

Dr. Diamond’s work has helped bridge the gap between science and policy in California by training, educating, and motivating physicians about the legislative process. He has led dozens of Residents and physicians to lobby California decision makers on women’s health issues and medicine.

A graduate from Emory University Medical School, Dr. Diamond spent his residency at UC San Diego, and he is currently serving as the Chief of the Department of OB/GYN at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women.
