Douglas Laube
Douglas W. Laube, MD, MEd, serves as the board chair of Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health. He is an obstetrician/gynecologist and a professor at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. A past president of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (2006-2007), Dr. Laube is now a Jefferson Science Fellow with the National Academies in Washington, DC. He is also a reviewer for numerous medical journals, including Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Access to Contraception is Basic Health Care. Don't Let Religious Organizations Limit Access

PRCH supports the recent recommendation of the Institute of Medicine (IOM) to include contraception in the preventive health benefits for women under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA). As physicians, we know that access to contraception is essential to the health and well-being of our patients.
