Dawn Philip

Dawn Philip is currently the Reproductive Justice Project Director and Georgetown Women's Law and Public Policy Fellow at the NAPAWF (National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum). She graduated in 2007 from the City University of New York (CUNY) law school. During law school, she interned at DRUM (Desis Rising Up and Moving), a grassroots South Asian immigrant rights organization, the New York Civil Liberties Union, and the Civil Rights Division of the New York State Office of the Attorney General. She also participated in the Economic Justice Project, a legal clinic that represents welfare recipients. While at CUNY, she was also on the New York City Law Review. Prior to law school, Dawn was a Program Associate with the Ms. Foundation for Women where she helped allocate funds to organizations working on a variety of socioeconomic issues. Dawn graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2001 with a B.A. in Political Science and Women's Studies and a minor in Public Policy.
