Cristina Page is author of How the Pro-Choice Movement Saved America: Freedom, Politics and the War on Sex-- the first book to expose the pro-life movement's war on contraception. Page is a prominent reproductive rights activist and consults for several national pro-choice groups. She also the spokesperson for birthcontrolwatch.org, a group that alerts the public to attacks on the right to use contraception. Her pro-choice policy proposals have been adopted by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the New Jersey State legislature. Page's previous book was The Smart Girl's Guide to College and her commentary has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian UK, The Chicago Sun Times, Newsday, Tompaine.com and Nerve.com. She is married with a son and lives in New York City.
