Clayton Jarrat
Name:
Clayton Jarratt
My name is Clayton Jarratt, I'm 18 years old, and starting college at New Mexico Tech in fall 2010, pursuing a double major in math and physics. I am extremely passionate about human rights and social justice, and in this country, I see nothing I find worse on either account than the assault on women's right to control their own bodies. I am new to the world of activism, but plan to be as engaged in it as possible while such basic human rights are on the line. The battle for reproductive justice in my state is starting to heat up, and I hope to be well engaged in it.

The first question most people seem to ask me is why, as an 18-year-old guy about to start college, are reproductive rights so important to me, important enough for me to become an activist of sorts.
