Claudia Rowe, a journalist, formerly worked for The New York Times and Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Her reporting focuses on social issues and has been honored by the Nieman Foundation at Harvard University. In 2008, her year-long series on teen violence won the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism.
