She serves on the board of the Reproductive Health Technologies Project. She formerly worked as a senior research associate at National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, and has served on the boards of the D.C. Abortion Fund, the New York Abortion Access Fund, and the National Network of Abortion Funds.

We do not allow the government to deny us the right to vote because we are poor, nor are we denied the right to freedom of religion because we cannot afford it. So why is the right to an abortion, one explicitly protected by the Constitution, any different?
