Alison (Ali) Ojanen-Goldsmith is the Founder of Full Spectrum Doulas and serves as Lead Coordinator in Seattle. Full Spectrum Doulas provide nonjudgmental, compassionate and empowering doula support to people through the full spectrum of their reproductive experiences, including abortion, birth, adoption, surrogacy and unintentional pregnancy loss. She also provides guidance and technical assistance for similar advocacy efforts across the country.

In addition, she owns and operates Healthy Family, Healthy World and specializes in eco-healthy postpartum doula care, eco-healthy childcare and teaching services and consulting for families on reducing toxic chemical exposure in their households.

Prior to moving to Seattle, she served as Programs and Policy Associate at Reproductive Health Technologies Project (RHTP) in Washington, DC and as a public policy researcher for NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin. She has over 5 years of community organizing experience for a wide range of social and health justice issues and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Alison is a member of Doulas of North America (DONA), Collaborative on Health and the Environment (CHE), Northwest Nanny Association and Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families.
