Cindy Cooper is an award-winning journalist and playwright. She is the managing editor of On The Issues Magazine. Her articles have appeared in Women’s eNews, Ms., Glamour, Marie Claire, The Nation, In These Times; her plays have been performed at hundreds of venues in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Formerly the communications director at the Center for Reproductive Rights, she is the founder and creator of Words of Choice, a pro-choice theater and arts organization. She leads Creativity Workshops and has a blog on creativity and reproductive rights at http://wordsofchoice.blogspot.com. She lives in New York City.
