So-called "Personhood" is sexy.  It’s flashy.  It gets attention.  That is why "Personhood" is something that Kansans for Life is avoiding.

Reporters are having a real hard time sorting out Mitt Romney's position on personhood. Here's a quick and easy way for journos to think about the issue, and Romney's evolving stance on it.

How will a so-called personhood amendment fare in Kansas?  We're going to find out. Kansans for Life is already publicly skeptical, saying they are "afraid of pushing the issue to the U.S. Supreme Court."

Today, Personhood Kansas announced via press release that it has pre-filed a Personhood bill in the Kansas legislature.  We can expect to see that bill officially filed next week.

At least they still managed to work "prenatal person" in.

If your amendment language gets turned down, it must be a super secret "pro-abort" plot.

Until a change of course is demanded in the state of Kansas, our elected oppressors will no doubt continue to spend their time, energy, resources and taxpayer money in the never-ending pursuit of being the first state to eliminate abortion and even some forms of contraception through the eradication of access, while saddling the taxpayers with an ideological debt.

Personhood Arkansas has taken the first step in trying to get a constitutional amendment to define a fertilized egg as a person onto the 2012 ballot.

More states make headway on pushing fertilized eggs as people bills.

In Colorado, some of the highest-ranking GOP politicians in the state are personhood backers, even though the measure was shot down badly both here in 2008 and again in 2010. Will the same politicians who backed the personhood amendment last year jump on board again, now that personhood backers have announced plans to place the measure on the 2012 election ballot in Colorado?
