Bill O'Reilly
More Lessons on Birth Control from Bill O'Reilly
Bill O'Reilly is AWOL on national television again. This time, he's yelling about birth control causing....unemployment? Talk about trying to keep women barefoot and pregnant. The good news is that he's recognizing that perhaps women are NOT too blasted to use their birth control, after all. The bad news is that he's still Bill O'Reilly, and as Thomas, a blogger for NARAL, put it: "Watch it to believe it."
"Many Women Who Get Pregnant are Blasted Out of Their Minds When They Have Sex, They're Not Gonna Use Birth Control Anyway."
Amidst a series of snarky comments to Leslie Marshall, Bill O'Reilly slips in his ignorant two-cents about government-funded birth control according to the recent recommendations made by the Institute of Medicine's (IOM) Reproductive Health Report.

What Does "Abortion Reduction" Really Mean?
by Kathleen Reeves, RH Reality Check
June 16, 2009 - 12:50pm (Print)
