Below is a list of vigils taking place around the country to honor Dr. George Tiller. I ask that those of you who disagree with Dr. Tiller's work and choices be respectful during this time. These vigils are designed to be peaceful and are not designed to foster debate or discussion over pro-choice vs. pro life issues. Thank you.

Charleston, West Virginia TONIGHT, 8:00 p.m. June 1, 2009 Elizabeth Street Playground (On the corner of Elizabeth and Quarrier Streets, across from the Board of Education Building on Charleston's East End)
Greensboro, NC: Meet at 6pm on Tuesday at the corner of N. Elm and W. Bessemer streets (in front of 917 N. Elm)
Minneapolis, MN: Meet at 9pm Tuesday in Loring Park
Hayward, CA: A memorial will be set up between 9am and 6pm on Wednesday at the Cal State University campus, 25800 Carlos Bee Blvd. People are welcome to come bring balloons, poems, photos, rocks, candles, etc

Vigil for Dr. Tiller in Seattle is going to be held at 6pm tonight at Cal Anderson park in Capitol Hill.
I'm interested in attending a vigil in the southern CA area if anybody knows of anything.

Just got back from the vigil in Boston. It was incredible! A packed church filled with so many beautiful memories of Dr. Tiller.
I encourage all of you to try and go to one if you can.
There will be a small memorial gathering for Dr Tiller in Los Angeles at LAC+USC Medical Center, inpatient tower chapel tomorrow (6/2) morning from 9-9:30 am. It will be short and nondenominational. Anyone wishing to remember and celebrate Dr Tiller's life is welcome.
