Last week, the New Mexico legislature passed four bills that could expand access to treatment for substance abuse.

Oral sex and head and neck cancer, Baltimore CPC law is struck down, parental notification in New Mexico, making judicial bypass harder on teens, and a cosponsor of the "it's not rape unless you're forced" bill says they didn't mean it that way.

We're now entering the countdown to election day, and in some states the candidates show clear differences on abortion.  In others, the choices are exactly the same.

Encouraged by far right primary wins and a victory in removing abortion care from federal healthcare, anti-choice extremists are going even further to show their true colors and true agenda: taking away every woman's choice in all circumstances.

Despite mixed reviews from the pro-choice community, Planned Parenthood of New Mexico applauds the passage of the health reform law that will broaden coverage for so many New Mexico families.
