Wow, when you see it all at once, Republican lawmakers don't think much of women at all.

Indiana becomes the first state to totally defund the health care provider.

This past month has shaken comprehensive women’s health to its core and the fight is not over. On the state level, there is a virtual slaughterhouse lined up for women’s healthcare. It will come as no shock to those who follow these issues that there is an inordinate focus on abortion. These zealots continue to pretend that abortion isn’t one of the most common medical procedures for women in childbearing years. Virginia has gone too far. This past week, the General Assembly passed legislation requiring all offices, clinics and centers that perform first-trimester abortions to be regulated as hospitals instead of as doctors' offices. This absurd and devastating new policy could be restrictive enough to force as many as 17 of the state's 21 abortion clinics out of business. 

Anti-choice politicians in Oklahoma have tried year after year to make it harder for women to access abortion despite the fact that and have been thwarted by the courts. Now there may be no check or balance on anti-choice legislation.
