A Nevada judge has ruled to immediately dismiss the second of two "egg-as-person" ballot initiatives because he has determined it to be vague and misleading.

Nevada Judge Rewrites Misleading "Egg-As-Person" Initiative to Clarify Radical Intent

A Nevada state judge today rewrote a misleading ballot initiative to make clear it is designed to eliminate access to all abortions, no matter how grave the situation of the mother, and to ban common birth control methods, the treatment of ectopic pregnancy, in vitro fertilization treatment, and stem cell research.

New Front in the War on Women: Regulatory Accountability Act Could Effectively Eliminate Reproductive Health Coverage

You know how the GOP and Tea Parties hate regulations?  Think again: The Regulatory Accountability Act would enforce purposeful overregulation. This law would so hamstring the regulation process that things like coverage of birth control in health reform could be tied up for years. Moreover, it would give groups like the United States Council of Catholic Bishops even more power.

Reports from Mississippi are mixed. The fate of Initiative 26 may hinge on voters like the pro-life woman whose stepdaughter had an ectopic pregnancy – and whose life was saved by a medical procedure that would be banned if the amendment passes.
