Chris Smith is obsessed with abortion, and with thwarting women's rights. Smith, whose top campaign contributor is Right to Life’s PAC, has made it his mission to make both contraception and safe abortion inaccessible here and abroad.

Amid the anger, frustration, challenges and fights for women's health and rights in health care reform, there is a reason for women's health advocates to celebrate. Now we need to connect the obvious dots and advocate for the full spectrum of women's reproductive rights. 

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi unveiled a health reform bill Thursday that would cost $894 billion over 10 years and includes a public option. It meets President Obama’s goal of not adding to the federal deficit, cutting the deficit by about $30 billion in the first 10 years.
