The centrality of human rights in the “public health” response to an epidemic that has largely marginalized the individual, especially the already marginalized individual was seen as key to addressing the HIV epidemic at the IAC.

There are good reasons to be hopeful on HIV prevention. At the same time, we have to recognize that these are tough times for  those of us who are passionate about fighting HIV.

Rachel Arinii Judhistari's inclusion as the youngest speaker at the International AIDS Conference shows the renewed focus on the rights and needs of youth around the world.
