self-identify as pro-choice. Democrats cannot build a winning coalition without attracting and keeping some
self-identified pro-lifers. Obama's common ground campaign promises helped do that. The new swing voter is a pro-lifer for common ground.

Most blogs, especially public policy blogs, seem to spin in place. So, wanting to succeed in genuinely making progress on common ground initiatives, I want to avoid the free market
of ideas model in this venue.
